The Sellouts - DMV’s hottest new cover band

The Sellouts is the DMV’s hottest new cover band, coming off the heels of winning 2025’s multi-month Band Madness competition at The Electric Palm. We are a supergroup of club musicians who play all of the best alternative, grunge, and rock songs primarily from the 90’s. But, we also dip back into the 70’s to cover Led Zeppelin anthems, the 80’s to have people dancing to Michael Jackson and Guns n’ Roses, as well as venture into this millennium to slam down hits from bands like Highly Suspect, Jet, MUSE, and The White Stripes. With a catalog of more than 70 songs (and growing), we craft sets based on the venue, striking the right balance of nostalgia and energy to keep your patrons on the floor dancing to songs like Are You Gonna Go My Way?, Sex on Fire, and Suck My Kiss; ordering more drinks while we deliver down-tempo shoegazers like Creep, Interstate Love Song, Say it Aint So, and Stuck on You; then belting along to 90’s classics such as Basket Case, Tomorrow, What’s Up?, Zero, and Zombie. We deliver a high-energy stage performance backed by solid musicianship. At the end of the night, everyone feels like they just attended the best all-day music festival and beg us to play more, and more, and sometimes even 3-song encores.
